At GreenCAD Metrics, we are committed to delivering high-quality construction and architectural services that meet or exceed our clients’ expectations. We understand that there may be circumstances where a refund is requested. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be applicable.
Service Refunds
GreenCAD Metrics provides customized construction, design, and renovation services. Refunds for services will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the stage of the project and the nature of the issue.
- Project Deposits: Refunds for deposits made before a project starts may be available if the project is canceled by the client before any work or material procurement has begun.
- Partial Completion Refunds: If a project is partially completed and the client is dissatisfied, GreenCAD Metrics will make every effort to address and resolve the issue. Refunds may be granted for any uncompleted portion of the project, but the client will be liable for work already performed and any materials purchased.
- No Refunds for Completed Work: Once a project is completed to the specifications agreed upon in the contract, no refunds will be issued unless there is a breach of contract or the work does not meet industry standards.
Refunds for Materials
If GreenCAD Metrics provides materials as part of a project (e.g., appliances, fixtures, fittings), the following conditions apply for refunds on materials:
- Defective or Damaged Materials: Materials that are found to be defective or damaged upon delivery are eligible for a refund or replacement. The issue must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the materials.
- Incorrect Materials: If the materials delivered do not match what was specified in the project agreement, the client is eligible for a refund or replacement.
- Non-refundable Materials: Custom-made or special-order items are not eligible for refunds unless they are defective or do not match the agreed-upon specifications.
Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are considered in the following situations:
- Cancellation of a Project: If a client cancels a project before it begins, a full or partial refund of the deposit may be issued based on the terms of the contract.
- Failure to Meet Standards: If the work provided by GreenCAD Metrics fails to meet professional standards or the agreed-upon project specifications, the client may be eligible for a refund of the portion of the project that has not been corrected, provided GreenCAD Metrics has been given an opportunity to resolve the issue.
- Material Refunds: Only materials that are unused, in original condition, and reported within the specified time frame are eligible for refunds.
Refund Process
To request a refund, follow these steps:
Notify us in writing at info@greencadmetrics.com or +254 711 376 349 within 7 days of identifying an issue with the project or materials.
Our team will review your refund request and evaluate the issue. For service-related refunds, we may request additional information or offer to remedy the situation before issuing a refund.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 days of the approval date. Refunds for materials will be processed after the return of the materials and an inspection confirming they meet the return conditions.
Method of Refund
Refunds will be issued through the original method of payment used during the transaction, whether by credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Exclusions
The following items or circumstances are not eligible for refunds:
- Completed construction or renovation services that meet the agreed-upon contract specifications.
- Custom-made or specially ordered materials (unless defective).
- Changes to project scope or client-requested modifications that alter the original contract terms.
